Yoga Class Levels

Beginners

For new yoga students or for those with some yoga background.

General

A class that is open to both Beginner and Intermediate level students. Mostly recommended for students with a minimum of six months of experience. Not suitable for new students. May be suitable as an additional concurrent class for consistent Beginner students.

Intermediate

Geared toward yoga practitioners who are developing a deeper understanding and appreciation for the practice. Usually suitable for those with more than a year or two of practice and attendance of General level classes. May be suitable for consistent General students that are attending classes more than once a week.

Gentle / Seniors

Class pace, intensity and focus is adjusted according to the conditions and situation of the students.

Women's

The class is an Iyengar yoga class catered specifically for women. It is organised so that women can feel comfortable practising only with other women. It will also benefit those with particular conditions that they feel will benefit from more attention.  [More info]

Restorative

Specially sequenced classes to aid in leading into a quietening and calming physical, emotional and mental state. A good complement to regular class attendance.

Group Practice

Unsupervised timeslot for self-practice. Practise at your own pace, with the support of fellow yoga practitioners. 

There is no fixed class fees for these sessions. Any dana contribution for the upkeep of Oasis is greatly appreciated.
