Iyengar Yoga

The Iyengar method of yoga is a dynamic form of yoga that brings strength, flexibility, endurance, relaxation and a sense of well being.
The unique features of the Iyengar method include:
  • Its ability to be practiced by all
  • The emphasis on precision and alignment in all postures
  • The use of props such as belts, ropes, wooden gadgets to help the practitioner
  • The aspect of sequencing and developing the practitioner's awareness of the sequence in which different groups of asanas have to be performed for maximum benefit
