The practice of mindfulness can equip anyone with capacities like resilience, self-reliance and discernment for understanding and responding to life with greater meaning and potential. This workshop is designed to help develop that understanding - how by being mindful we can transform our confusion and unhappiness into mental composure, clarity and wellbeing: in short, how mindfulness enables us to treat our own minds. Begin to learn about mindfulness and practise it through training in meditation techniques supported by information, instruction sessions and discussion. Lynne Bousfield has 35 years of training and practise in mindfulness meditation techniques and 19 years experience as a clinical psychologist.
